Is Love a destroyer ?

This question often creep in my mind, is Love a destroyer ? Can Loving someone leads us in a situation where we are ready to ruin our life,our aims our goals. I will say no, loving someone can't take you to a path where one can eventually destroy himself/herself. One who destroy himself/herself doesn't love enough oneself. (One who try to destroy oneself might not be in Love but in Infatuation). Before loving someone to that extent one has to learn to love himself/herself to the fullest. One who has learned the art of self loving can't ruin his/her life.

Then why so many people destroy themselves in love, I will say because they don't have any other major goals or responsibilities in life. They have given priority to love despite having such beautiful life to do something more constructive. ( Perhaps they have not understood the holiness of love !! ). It's always harmful for us to give the emotional remote control of our life to someone. Don't ever let someone decides your fate or make you sad or happy.It always good to channelize your energy. Even if one does not get the love of his/her life has to accept the fact and then he/she should try to channelize the energy in some other direction.

I agree that not getting love of your life gives a deep scare in your heart, but you have to get the biggest strength, determination to do something extraordinary from that scare. Love is a beautiful and enlightening feelings. Deeply Loving someone gives you the courage and patience to succeed in the world. We have so many example of deep love like Radha and Krishna, they never got married but whenever their is a topic or discussion on love,first name came to our mind is of Radha-Krishna.
